Juried Art Show: Larkin Arts

I'm playing catchup a little bit here, this was my submission for a show that's just finished up in town. The title of the show was, "Wonderkitten" and it involved both child and professional artists pairing up and doing portraits of one another. It was a great success and a lot of fun!

At the moment I have my mother's lovely, lovely camera on loan. Today I went out to the barn and snapped some photos of the geldings just 'hanging out'. So fun to play around with! I aimed to capture the wonderful and woolly textures that their coats are at this time of year. Of course the pre-sunset lighting helped too :)

Holiday Art Market 2013!

Today was another successful art market at Larkin Arts! There will be another one held Dec. 14th, I won't be participating but if you live in the area you should definitely check it out! Lots of great, local talent :)
