Holiday Art Market 2013!

Today was another successful art market at Larkin Arts! There will be another one held Dec. 14th, I won't be participating but if you live in the area you should definitely check it out! Lots of great, local talent :)

And if you didn't/can't make either event for your Christmas shopping needs, don't forget about my Etsy shop! Which features my collection of prints in sizes 8"x10" and 12"x16", as well as a few originals and some lovely greeting cards. Tis the Season :)

Peaka

"Peaka", commission, oil on stretched canvas

Here's another canine portrait I recently completed. This painting was for a surprise birthday present...and she loved it! There isn't a better feeling in the world!

Etsy Shop!

8 x 10 print of 'Guatemala Study'

Hey everyone! I just launched my new etsy shop about a week ago, check it out here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MorganFinkArt for small paintings, archival quality prints, and greeting cards!

Work in Progress: Haircut2

I wanted to share a work in progress that's on the closer end to completion, but still needs some tweaks here and there. It's the second part of my 'Haircut' diptych.

Chloe

Here's a dog portrait commission I've been working on and finally feel that it is finished! Chloe is the first of 4 portraits (I'm working on the second currently) that are small 6 x 8 paintings. The series is a homage to the family's past and present beloved canine friends.  I will continue to post them as they come out!

Hay Bale Commission

8 x 10 oil on canvas panel

Here's the latest commissioned I did for a wonderful client. I really like how it came out; combining a light playful atmosphere with a more graphic representation. I've been working on a lot of figurative pieces recently and this has made me excited about doing more landscapes!
